Hodgkin's disease is a type of lymphoma cancer of the lymphatic system. Hodgkin's disease is a very rare cancer which comprises less than one percent of all cancers diagnosed in the United States.   • Viruses: environmental toxins such as pesticides can increase the risk of developing lymphoma. People with HIV, the Epstein-Barr Virus, or who are taking immunosuppressive drugs are at greater risk.
